SYLVANIA “The zXe #GreatWhiteLights Getaway Contest” 2015 Social Media Contest - Official Rules.

SYLVANIA “The zXe #GreatWhiteLights Getaway Contest” is sponsored by OSRAM SYLVANIA Ltd. The contest is administrated by Feast Interactive Inc.

1. Sponsor

OSRAM SYLVANIA Inc. (the “Sponsor”) , 2001 Drew Road, Mississauga, ON, L5S 1S4. This Contest is in no way sponsored, administered, endorsed by or associated with Instagram, Inc. or Facebook, Inc. Any questions, comments or complaints must be directed to the Sponsor, and not to Instagram, Inc., Twitter Inc., or Facebook, Inc.

2. Eligibility

To enter, you must be a citizen or permanent legal resident of Canada who is at least 18 years of age. The following are not eligible to enter to win: OSRAM SYLVANIA Ltd., Feast Interactive Inc. and their affiliates and each of their respective employees, shareholders, directors, officers, members, successors and agents, and each of their respective parent companies, divisions, subsidiaries, retailers, affiliates, promotion and advertising agencies, and any others engaged in the development, productions or distribution of promotional materials or prizes for this promotion (collectively, the “Released Parties”), and members of their immediate family (spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, ward, daughter or son and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household of Released Parties.

The Sponsor shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to the Sponsor for the purpose of the Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion; to disqualify any entrant should such an entrant at any stage supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information. This Contest is in no way sponsored, administered, endorsed by or associated with Instagram, LLC. or Facebook, Inc. Any questions, comments or complaints must be directed to the Sponsor, and not to Instagram, Inc. or Facebook, Inc.

3. Contest Period

The Contest begins on Monday September 14, 2015 at 12:00am EST and ends on Monday October 26, 2015 at 3:00am EST (the “Contest Period”) after which time the Contest will be closed and no further entries shall be accepted.

4. How-To Enter

Facebook: Entrants must have a Facebook account to participate in this Contest. An account can be opened for free at http://facebook.com. By entering this contest, entrants agree to abide by Facebook policies that can be found at http://facebook.com/policies. To participate, entrants must vote on a destination that can be found on the contest application on SYLVANIA Canada’s Facebook page http://facebook.com/SYLVANIACanada. The Facebook contest campaign begins on Monday September 14, 2015 at 12:00am EST and ends on Monday October 26, 2015 at 3:00am EST. One grand prize winner and two secondary prize winners will be selected from all available contest platforms.

Microsite: Entrants must answer all questions on the quiz in order to participate in the contest. Entrants are to login through a valid Facebook account or submit their contact information in order to complete their entry. The website contest campaign begins on Monday September 14, 2015 at 12:00am EST and ends on Monday October 26, 2015 at 3:00am EST. One grand prize winner and two secondary prize winners will be selected from all available contest platforms.

Only (1) entry per person will be valid for the entire contest period.

By participating in this Contest, you agree to be bound by these official rules.

5. Winner Selection

(3) Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received from Monday September 14, 2015 at 12:00am EST through Monday October 26, 2015 at 3:00am EST. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Prize awards are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Potential winners must be at least 18 years of age, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.

In the event of a dispute regarding entries received from multiple users having the same Facebook account, the authorized subscriber of the Facebook account at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with these Official Rules. An authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the social media account.

6. Winner Notification

A potential winner will be notified through a public post on SYLVANIA Canada’s Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and website. A potential winner must fill out a private Google docs form within (96) hours, provided by SYLVANIA Canada through direct message/e-mail. Winner must also confirm eligibility. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit of the prize, with OSRAM SYLVANIA Ltd. & Feast Interactive Inc. having no further obligations to such potential winner.

If the prize is returned as undeliverable, or winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and at OSRAM SYLVANIA Ltd. & Feast Interactive Inc.’s discretion, another potential winner selected by random.

7. Prizing

A total of (1) Grand prize and (2) Secondary prizes will be awarded at random selection. The prizes will each consist of the following:

The approximate retail value for the Grand prize pack is $1350 Canadian dollars. The approximate retail value for each Secondary prize pack is $250 Canadian dollars.

No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent of a prize is permitted except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of equal or comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion, or in the event a prize becomes unavailable for any reason. Prize is awarded “as is”. Any and all federal, provincial and local taxes on the prizes are the sole responsibility of prize winners.

8. Indemnification by Entrant

By entering the Contest, entrant releases and holds Releasees, Instagram, LLC and Facebook, Inc. harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to the entrant or any other person, including personal injury, death, or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any Prize, participation in the Contest, any breach of these Contest Rules, or in any Prize-related activity. The entrant agrees to fully indemnify Releasees, Instagram, Inc. and Facebook, Inc. from any and all claims by third parties relating to the Contest, including without limitation any claims of infringement of rights to copyright, privacy and/or personality.

9. Limitation of Liability

By participating each entrant agrees and by accepting a prize, winner agrees: (a) to abide by these Official Rules, which govern all communications regarding the Promotion, and all rules and guidelines provided by Twitter which can be found at http://twitter.com, by Facebook which can be found at http://facebook.com, and by Instagram which can be found at http://instagram.com.

The Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for lost, late, unintelligible/illegible, falsified, damaged, misdirected or incomplete entries, notifications, responses, replies or any Confirmation and Release, or for any computer, online, software, telephone, hardware or technical malfunctions that may occur, including but not limited to malfunctions that may affect the transmission or non-transmission of an entry. The Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems, failures or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, e-mail, players, or browsers, on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, at any website, or on account of any combination of the foregoing. The Sponsor is not responsible for any injury or damage to entrant or to any computer related to or resulting from participating in this Contest. Entrant assumes liability for injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Contest, or by the acceptance, possession, use of, or failure to receive any Prize. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability in the event that the Contest cannot be conducted as planned for any reason, including those reasons beyond the control of the Sponsor, such as infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or corruption of the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest.

Decisions of Sponsor which shall be final in all respects relating to this Promotion; (b) to release, discharge and hold harmless the Released Parties, from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s participation in the Promotion or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any awarded prize; (c) to the use of his/her name, answer (or portions of the Answer), image and/or likeness for programming, advertising, publicity and Promotion purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, worldwide and on the Internet, and in perpetuity by Sponsor and its designees, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from entrant or any third party and without prior notice, approval or inspection, and to execute specific consent to such use if asked to do so; and (d) winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused by participation in this Promotion or use or redemption of any prize.

10. Conduct

By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by (i) the Contest Rules, which will be posted and made available at http://bit.ly/1TVltDs ; and (ii) the terms and conditions of any third party site, to the extent applicable, including without limitation, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Entrant further agrees to be bound by the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects.

11. Privacy /Use of Personal Information

(a) By participating in the Contest, entrant: (i) grants to the Sponsor the right to use his/her name, mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address (“Personal Information”) for the purpose of administering the Contest, including but not limited to contacting and announcing the Winner; (ii) grants to the Sponsor the right to use his/her Personal Information for publicity and promotional purposes relating to the Contest, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, without further compensation unless prohibited by law; and (iii) acknowledges that the Sponsor may disclose his/her Personal Information to third-party agents and service providers of the Sponsor in connection with any of the activities listed in (i) and (ii) above.

12. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property, including but not limited to trade-marks, trade names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source code, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned by the Sponsor and/or its affiliates. All rights are reserved.

13. Law

These are the official Contest Rules. The Contest is subject to applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. The Contest Rules are subject to change without notice in order to comply with any applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws or the policy of any other entity having jurisdiction over the Sponsor. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Contest Rules or the rights and obligations as between the entrant and the Sponsor in connection with the Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario including procedural provisions without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws.

14. Language Discrepancy

In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials, including but not limited to the Contest entry form, or point of sale, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules shall prevail, govern and control.

15. Request For Winner’s List

For the name of the winners (available after November 1, 2015) send a self-addressed, stamped envelope by December 11, 2015 to: Feast Interactive, c/o “The zXe #GreatWhiteLights Getaway Contest” 90 C Centurian Drive, Suite 210, Markham, ON, L3R 8C5. Requests must be received on or before December 31, 2015.
